Description

Vinification and refining: The first stage is maceration with the skins in steel tanks with temperature control for five to seven days. After racking, in the following fifteen days, the alcoholic fermentation is concluded in stainless steel vats. The wine is then placed in second and third passage barrels in order to obtain malolactic fermentation at a constant temperature of 20°C. At the end of this phase, it is put in barrels for six months. After decanting in steel tanks for a few months, the wine is bottled without filtration. Before being marketed, it rests in the bottle for three months.

Tasting characteristics: intense red in color with a lively hue, it opens on the nose with fresh aromas of ripe plum on a spicy background. It has a generous body with a high fixed acidity, balanced by the complexity typical of the Barbera grape variety, with a pleasant freshness and good persistence. Aging in the bottle provides aromatic complexity and sweetness for the next fifteen years.
