2011 Amarone Classico comes from grapes harvested in the Brigaldara vineyards, located in the heart of the Classica region of Valpolicella, at the entrance to the Marano Valley. The grapes dedicated to its production are the best exposed and the sparsest.

Of fundamental importance are the careful selection in the vineyard and the rigorous management of the drying process, which lasts approximately 120 days, at the end of which the vinification takes place, designed to facilitate the release through the skin of all the noble components that 'it contains. Amarone Classico is linked to the traditional production method, aging in wooden barrels for at least 3 years.

Selection of
grapes from the vineyard which are left to dry in boxes, placed in a drying room. Red vinification ensures contact with the skins throughout the fermentation process and the extraction of color is favored by 2 daily pumping overs and removal in the middle of fermentation.

1 year in small oak barrels and 2 years in large oak barrels
Tasting notes
Bright red. Clean aromas of red cherry and berries are enhanced by a floral touch. Initially sweet with a nice sensation in the mouth, it then develops a slightly bitter note with a remarkable tannic bite on the lively flavors of red fruits. Classically dry finish with a trace of heat derived from the high alcohol content.
